This one and one-half story Norman Farmhouse/Tudor residence was built by C.L. Kelly for Sam Bass Warner, a University of Oregon Law Professor from 1919 to 1928, and son of Gertude Bass Warner, Director of the UO Oriental Art Museum until 1951. John and COrabelle Rogers acquired the home in 1928. Mr. Rogers was a partner in the Twin Oaks Building Supply Company.
Outstanding features include a tapered metal entry hood, nested gabled and pop-thru corner. The site design was done by Fred Cuthbert, former head of the UO Department of Landscape Architecture.
