This Tutor Revival House was built by Cardinal Lyle Kelly, a Professor of Business Administration and Accounting at the UO.
He built at least five houses in the South University Neighborhood– each building lot being sold at $50 at that time. He ordered the plans for this house from a New York Architect.
One an one-half stories tall, the roof is deeply pitched and of several shapes: gable, bellcast, and hip. It is a fine example of the Tudor revival style, virtual intact in bricked stucco.
