This two story Titor Revival House built by T. Gerow, was owned by the Sigwart family for over 50 years. L.B. Sigwart organized the Sigwart Electric Company, which was very successful in its time.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Sigwart were ardent golfers and they were one of the 25 families who, in 1927, raised the cash to buy the farm that is today the Eugene Country Club.
Mr. Sigwart was Ambassador to Colombia under Franklin Roosevelt, and it is said that President Roosevelt slept at this house during the Sigwart ownership.
